Canon Medical’s Aquilion CT imaging suite and Alphenix angiography systems work in concert to provide real improvements in efficiency, workflow and clinical confidence. The unique SUREGuidance feature synchronizes positional data of the region of interest between modalities. The CT gantry, the C-arm and the table move automatically to do the rest. 3D roadmapping to superimpose CT-derived 3D images onto the fluoro image allows you to navigate during the angio procedure with greater confidence and accuracy.

Alphenix’s ceiling-mounted C-arm offers an unprecedented range of movement, allowing you to position the C-arm to suit your workflow. Its unique lateral fingertip-to-fingertip coverage aids transradial procedures. With the CT gantry fully parked the C-arm provides fast, head-to-toe access from any position. When both the CT gantry and C-arm are parked, you have 360-degree access to the table when you need it.

In angiography, Spot Fluoro significantly reduces patient dose and scatter radiation offering greater protection for the patient and clinical staff. Enhanced dose tracking tools allow real-time peak skin dose monitoring and archiving. This monitoring and visualization of dose allows the operator to choose a different approach during a long procedure to avoid regions where dose thresholds have been exceeded.
