We are proud to have completed the first installation of Varian Halcyon linear accelerator system at RSUPN Ciptomangunkusumo.
This installation was momentous for PT Murti Indah Sentosa as we were able to complete the following:
1. Fit Halcyon into a cobalt bunker with very minimal bunker renovation.
2. Time from machine rig in into customer hand over in 7 days.
3. First user training completed 2 weeks after machine hand over.
4. Machine commissioning and verification in 2 days.
It is with great pride to see the official inauguration of RSUPN Ciptomangunkusumo Intergrated Cancer Center building and Varian Medical System Halcyon introduction in Indonesia by our minister of health, Letjen (Purn.) Dr.dr Terawan Agus Putranto, Sp.Rad(k). This event was attended by many distinguished guests from MoH, regulatory bodies, and most importantly cancer survivor advocacy groups.
We collaborated with the doctors from RSUPN Ciptomangunkusumo to create a simple yet modern bunker interior that can provide a calming atmosphere for the patients. The bunker labyrinth is converted into a gallery filled with positive quotes and pictures of cancer survivor to inspire patients to fight cancer as they go through their treatment.
We cannot wait to see this machine goes clinical to treat patients in Indonesia.
