Canon and Canon Medical System Corporation announced the new transition of Toshiba Medical Systems on Thursday, Jan. 4 2018 at Nasu Headquarters, Tochigi, Japan. It concludes that the Canon Group company Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation has been renamed Canon Medical Systems. The change is effective immediately.
Canon Medical Systems first joined Canon Group in December 2016. Procedures for full integration, including regulatory approvals and change of the company name, have now been completed.
According to a prepared statement, Canon Medical Systems will “continue to expand in order to accelerate the growth of the Canon Group’s medical equipment business and contribute to better healthcare throughout the world.”
